Presentation of the group
With more than 30 schools established and over 17,000 students continuing their education, the “Education Development Company” (EDC) Group positions itself as a leading national operator of private education in Morocco.
As an institutional actor, “EDC” aims to contribute to further professionalizing the education sector, based on governance and organizational methods aligned with global best practices by establishing special bodies and committees.
Building on its historic schools in Casablanca for over sixty years, the Group continued to develop new schools in the city while gradually expanding its presence to cover major cities across the Kingdom (Rabat, Tangier, El Jadida, Khouribga, Safi, Youssaoufia and Marrakech).
Following the opening of more than 10 establishments between September 2020 and 2024, the Group continues to implement its vision with new sites planned for upcoming school years.
Our institutions, offering multiple curricula, cover all education levels (Preschool, Primary, Secondary, and Higher Education) with strong and distinct networks:
- French network accredited by AEFE through the “Léon l’Africain” brand.
- Moroccan trilingual network under direct management through the “Elbilia International” and “Loppsi” brands.
- American network in Rabat under the “Dar Essalam American School” brand.
- Moroccan bilingual network under direct management through the “Elbilia Skolar” brand and delegated management through “Elbilia Management.”
- Higher education network through the “ESME” and “Elbilia International – Preparatory Classes” brands.
- Tutoring network through “Les Cours Elbilia” for evening courses, summer classes, and preparations for post-baccalaureate exams.

Message from the CEO
At EDC Group, we are committed to shaping the future of Morocco by laying strong foundations from the earliest years of education. Starting from preschool through to preparatory classes, we provide a global education grounded in universal values and a deep openness to the world.
We strive to create a learning environment that fosters personal growth, where each student is guided and supported by the entire educational community. Our goal is for every learner to uncover their own path, developing at their own pace and in their own way.
To offer the broadest range of opportunities, we present a variety of educational paths: the Moroccan bilingual curriculum within the Elbilia network, the French curriculum within the Léon l’Africain network, and beginning in 2022, the American curriculum at the newly established Dar Essalam American School in Rabat.
These curricula are carefully crafted, drawing on leading pedagogical practices that focus on nurturing essential “soft skills” and incorporating the latest digital teaching technologies from an early age.
At Education Development Company (EDC), we believe education is not just about the transfer of knowledge, but also about teaching life itself.
